That setting is controlled by an internal mechanical spring. Once you have tuned your car with higher boost software, the original wastegate becomes inefficient as the spring cannot hold the pressure. Our specially designed, reinforced race wastegate allows you to run higher boost for better performance and boost response. Features: higher peak boost holding pressure quicker boost response better boost recovery between shifts less boost lost under initial acceleration sold individually. 2 necessary per car.
